You will arrive in Kigoma by a flight from Arusha. The flight can take more than three hours to Kigoma. There will be a pickup on arrival and transfer to hotel at the lake shore for the night at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel. You can use your afternoon to explore Kigoma town and visit some attractions which are found there. Dinner and overnight at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel.
Pick up from Kigoma Aistrip and transfer. Preferred Kigoma Hilltop Lodge
After breakfast you will be transfered to the lake for boat departure to Gombe stream. Your boat ride will take about 7 hours. You will be picked up on arrival and transferred to the Lodge. You will have a hot lunch at the lodge and then proceed for a chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Dinner and overnight at Gombe Bandas.
After an early morning breakfast at Gombe Bandas, you will depart at 08:00 to do the chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Search for the climb to Kakombe Waterfalls if time allows. You will stop for meals along the way and then proceed to Gombe Bandas for an overnight.
An armed ranger accompanies the group through the park en route you will climb Kakombe waterfalls. Afternoon return back to lodge for the night.
After breakfast at the lodge you will be transferred to the lake for your boat departure to Kigoma. On arrival you will be picked up and transferred to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel. You will be served a hot lunch and then transferred to Kigoma Airport (TKQ) for a flight to Arusha.
